Great day of golf at the Delgany Schools Cup Competition

Eight of our budding golfers represented Delgany N.S. at the Delgany Schools Cup Golf Competition at Delgany Golf Club on 13th May 2019. The day started with a 9 hole scramble competition, both teams scored very well but the competition was strong with St. Brigid’s N.S. winning the girls’ competition and St. Gerard’s winning the boys’ competition. The girls had the best gross girls’ score of the day! They were treated to a super display of golf by Gavin Kavanagh, the pro at Delgany Golf Club. Following that they enjoyed a lovely lunch in the club house. The fabulous day ended with the presentation of medals and cups. It was a super day thanks to Delgany Golf Club.
